Comfort in the Cold!
First off let me introduce
myself. My name is Kris Tenner, I am approaching my third year of working for
Equipment & Event Rental. I came on board as the equipment mechanic and
shortly after began exploring more into the rental and customer service side of
the company. I enjoy the customer interaction and like to pair the right tool
for the job. Working hand in hand with the customer gives me satisfaction and a
chance to hear firsthand feedback on the items we rent.
Living in New Jersey we can expect the unexpected, but it
does not mean we won‘t be prepared. We all know that whatever Mother Nature
brings, the work must go on, but the good thing is we have the equipment to
make even the most difficult times comfortable and efficient. Today I am going
to introduce four models of our rental heaters. As a mechanic I have needed and
used each of these heaters in different situations to help me complete my own tasks
and boy, am I thankful that I have had the resources to make a difficult job
more comfortable. The beautiful thing is that you too also have these resources
available seven days a week and only a quick phone call away.
The first heater I want to introduce to you is our
Kerosene forced air heater. It’s available in both a 165,000 BTU Model B165CT rating
and also a 200,000 BTU Model B200CT. These heaters are designed to be used in a
well ventilated area typically a construction, agricultural or commercial
environment. Both feature a built in thermostat to maintain temperature and help
to save fuel. The 155,000 BTU model will heat a 3,600 square foot area and run
approximately 12 hours on a full tank of fuel, 13.5 gallons of Diesel or
Kerosene. The 165,000 BTU model will give you more heating capacity at 3,900
square feet with an 11 hour run time on a 13.5 gallon self contained fuel tank.
The next line of heaters we offer are the propane forced
air heaters. These are very similar to the kerosene models but have some
different features and benefits. The BLP100 consumes 4.6 lbs per hour of
propane and has three output settings 65,000 BTU, 85,000 BTU and 100,000 BTU.
It can quickly warm up an area of 2,350 square feet and is very easy to operate
with an automatic ignition and one hand controls. We also offer the BLP155AT heater. It too features easy operation but has a BTU output of 155,000 BTU and
can accommodate an area up to 3,500 square feet and consumes 7lbs of propane
per hour of operation. These heaters operate on propane with portable propane tanks.
We rent the 100lb tanks and also sell the propane to keep us your one stop
rental shop. The BLP155AT heater will run for 14 hours off of a full 100lb propane
tank while the BLP100 will run for 21 hours off of a full 100lb propane tank.
Next up we have a heater available for enclosed/non-ventilated
areas, our 1500 watt electric radiant heat zone heaters. These heaters reach
full heat in just three minutes and perfect for heating areas that you want
direct heat. They attain a 15 degree increase in zone temperature and have zero
emissions or odor. This is the perfect heater for working in a unfinished room,
a garage or even keeping an area of the house warm while waiting for your homes
heater to be prepared. It’s light weight and very compact making it a nice fit
for many applications.
Lastly we have the 200K Propane BTU Convection MasterHeater model TC200V. This heater is designed for an open construction type
setting. Some use it to help dry paint, curing concrete, concrete freeze
protection or dry walling in large construction settings. This model has three
heat settings and can accommodate an area from 2,350-4,700 square feet. This
model runs on either a 40lb or a 100lb propane tank that we can also rent to
you.
We are here to help you make the
best of whatever job you have to tackle. Every one of us takes pride in
supplying the right equipment for the right job. This winter whether your
heater breaks or you’re remodeling the garage, don’t shiver, give us a call
because we have the right heater to make you comfortable. Stay safe and warm my
friends!
